Herbal Perfumes and CosmeticsFirst of all I do not claim to be a physician, nor a cosmetologist.
I simply know some home cosmetics and love natural methods of cleaning and refreshing the skin..
While reactions to most of the ingredients here are relatively rare, and it does seem silly to have to say this,
please note that it is possible to sustain an allergic reaction to any substance.
Be responsible. If you do not know an herb, don't pick it, and if you are
uncertain of its effect on your skin, do a skin test prior to using the recipes.
This can be done quite simply by mixing a small amount of the substance,
and applying it to the inner fold of your elbow, and leaving it for 24-48 hours.,
If there is any redness or itching, do not use that herb.
Lastly, an allergic reaction can occur at any time, EVEN if you have used the substance many times before.
IF YOU DEVELOP REDNESS, ITCHING, OR SWELLING,
AFTER USING THESE MIXTURES, DISCONTINUE THEM IMMEDIATELY!!!
